Jobs that will disappear in the future
Which professions will disappear in the future and why they will vanish are examined in this research on automation and artificial intelligence.
Reasons that trigger disappearance
Automation and artificial intelligence–supported systems can perform repetitive and measurable tasks much faster and more accurately than humans. This situation has caused major changes especially in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, accounting, and secretarial work. For example, the profession of cashiering has largely declined due to automated payment systems; self-service checkouts in supermarkets, automatic payment points in parking lots, and mobile app-based payment systems have removed the human factor. Similarly, banking transactions are now conducted through digital platforms, and teller services are rapidly decreasing. This trend makes it inevitable that even processes requiring “human assistance” will be carried out by machines in the future.Occupations at high risk of disappearing
Studies show that all professions involving repetitive tasks are at risk. Roles such as data entry operators, secretaries, ticket clerks, and call center employees can easily be handled by artificial intelligence–based systems. A similar transformation is taking place in the field of driving; with the spread of autonomous vehicle technologies, professions such as taxi driving, truck driving, and even cargo transportation will greatly diminish. On production lines, industrial robots are replacing human workers. Even in agriculture, unmanned tractors and automatic irrigation systems are being used, and the need for manual labor is steadily decreasing. Not only physical labor but also digital routine jobs are at risk. For instance, tasks such as bookkeeping or data analysis are fields rapidly being taken over by algorithms. Artificial intelligence systems can now read documents, detect errors, and prepare tax reports. This reduces the need for human labor, especially in small businesses, lowering costs while also shrinking job opportunities.
